Capitol Region Apprenticeship Job & Resource Fair – Largo, MD

The VETS Group staff attended the Capitol Region Apprenticeship Job & Resource Fair located at the American Job Center (AJC) in Largo, MD on 11/15/2023. We attended the event as a resource vendor to provide additional information relating to the VETS Group IT Training Academy. We met multiple Prince George’s (PG) County residents who were interested in additional information relating to IT certification courses that we currently offer. The VETS Group was also able to network with other resource vendors within the PG County community. We were excited to network with EMPLOY PG Regional Coordinator for the Business Services unit, Fahim Karim and form a valuable relationship with EMPLOY PG to become an eligible educational training provider to serve the residents of PG County. Following the event, Fahim Karim and Manager of Business Services Perez Abbott visited the VETS Group IT Training Academy to tour our training facility. It was a pleasure for us to meet with Fahim Karim and Perez Abbott and we are looking forward to continuing our partnership with EMPLOY PG and serving the residents of PG County.
