The VETS Group team was recently invited to attend the GWRCCC Fed Fleet event after having an enlightening discussion about Electric Vehicle (EV) development opportunities. This event provided a great platform for networking and meeting other fleet management companies, as well as organizations managed and owned by veterans. 

During the event, Mr. Joe Wynn spoke on the reception panel and introduced the opportunity for veterans and community members to collaborate in the EV space to set up the infrastructure required for the wider community. However, the need for funding is an important factor in the development and maintenance of this new technology for public use. It is important that the community come together while the growth of this technology continues to evolve.

Mr. Luis McDonald, treasurer of GWRCCC and VET Force member, also expressed excitement about the launch of the Vets Fleet program. This program has an MOU under the Department of Veteran Affairs that provides training for veterans. The event was a great networking opportunity and the teams enjoyed connecting and learning more about each organization’s missions towards collaborating on the opportunities growing within EV.
