The VETS Group had an opportunity to participate as an exhibitor at the 52nd Annual Congressional Black Caucus Conference that was held at the Walter E. Convention Center in Washington D.C. The VETS Group team had a memorable experience. The opportunity to attend the event had a great impact on making connections with wonderful people from many states.

As an exhibitor, the VETS Group team was able to provide the attendees with information about the VETS Group Training Academy and the services offered. Our team spoke with students from different educational institutions who were getting ready to graduate from high school or college. We provided guidance on future career opportunities relating to information technology and how to start a pathway towards obtaining an IT certification based on positions of interest. Our team members enjoyed the time speaking to visitors from all walks of life.

The event took place for 3 days starting on Wednesday 9/20 – Friday 9/22. During the event, the attendees had an opportunity to sit in different panel discussions that were extremely informative to the community. These discussions were focused on topics that were related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Black America, Veterans and the Black PACT, Stopping Gun Violence and more.

While the panel discussion rooms filled up, the agenda for each day listed eventful activities with great information. The event also had areas for exhibitors that included entrepreneurs, a career fair, food vendors, informational tables that provided advice about healthcare, radio stations, governmental agencies, authors, and more. The VETS Group team had a great time meeting different people while networking and making long-lasting connections.
